Waleed Homaid - Managing Partner at SAWA

Waleed has over 13 years of experience in assurance and advisory, covering planning, execution, control, and reporting. He previously managed the Tax and Zakat department at a top 10 firm.

His expertise includes audit and assurance, due diligence, financial advisory, internal control reviews, and third-party monitoring for projects financed by international NGOs, the World Bank, and UN agencies. Waleed has served clients across various industries, including trading, telecommunications, insurance, banking, manufacturing, hospitality, and not-for-profits.

He is a Yemeni Certified Public Accountant (YCPA) and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors-Yemen (IIA).

Ahmed AlFakih - Partner at SAWA

Ahmed has over 21 years of experience in Yemen, Djibouti, and Oman. He has served national and international clients across various industries, including banking (commercial, Islamic, and microfinance), manufacturing, telecommunications, oil & gas, transportation, hospitality, and not-for-profit organizations.

His expertise includes quality control reviews, agreed-upon procedures, due diligence, internal audits, compliance audits, and special projects. He also conducted a Professional Standard Review (PSR) for KSA audit offices at a Big 4 firm.

Ahmed is a Yemeni Certified Public Accountant (YCPA) and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors-Yemen (IIA).
